Job summary

ReNew in Gurugram, Haryana is seeking a Senior Engineer (Supplier Quality Management) to lead procurement and supplier quality activities. You will work with SAP MM and Ariba, coordinating with Design, Project and FC teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Ideal candidates hold a BE/BTech in Mechanical and 2–4 years of relevant experience, with strong MS Office skills and vendor development capabilities.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in supplier quality management or procurement.
• Experience with SAP for procurement and materials management.
• MS Office and SAP/Ariba knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver procurement and supplier quality management duties as described.
• Handle SAP procurement activities including RFPs, POs, payments, and reconciliations.
• Procure mechanical and structural materials (MMS, fasteners, switchyard structures).
• Source vendors, manage supplier relationships, and track supplies with vendors.
• Coordinate with Design, Project and FC teams to ensure alignment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• This role is responsible to deliver on the following:
• Experience working in SAP for procurement and materials management activities.
• Knowledge in issuing RFPs, preparing approval notes, issuing POs, processing vendor payments, and performing account reconciliations.
• Manage procurement of mechanical and structural materials, including MMS, Fasteners, and Switchyard Structures
• Knowledge of vendor sourcing, vendor databases, and supplier management.
• Supplies tracking with vendor.
• Material reconciliation with sites
• Vendor development.
• Inter department coordination.

Education: B. E/ B.Tech- Mechanical
