The role focuses on negotiating terms, evaluating vendors, issuing POs, and coordinating with production to ensure uninterrupted material availability and timely deliveries.

Responsabilités

• Search and identify new suppliers and vendors for raw materials, components, and services.
• Develop, lead, and execute purchasing and sourcing strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Arrange samples from new vendors and coordinate testing and approval with the Quality Department.
• Evaluate, select, and onboard prospective vendors based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best commercial outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and ensure long-term supplier partnerships.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved quotations and business requirements.
• Plan monthly raw material requirements in coordination with Stores and Production teams and arrange procurement accordingly.
• Monitor order status, schedule deliveries, and ensure timely fulfillment of purchase requirements.
• Arrange transportation for dispatches, track shipments, and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Ensure the quality of procured items and resolve supplier-related issues when they arise.
• Review technical specifications, drawings, and material requirements before procurement.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, vendor databases, and purchase reports.
• Generate periodic procurement and inventory reports for management review and decision-making.
• Identify reliable vendors capable of supplying quality products at competitive prices within required timelines.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability and smooth production operations.
