Job summary

NITYO in Pune, India, seeks a Procurement Contractor to manage end-to-end purchasing for prototype parts and materials. Based in Chakan, this contract role emphasizes tactical procurement, data-driven decision making, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Technologies, or Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in supplier base management and/or sourcing & contracting, and/or purchase to invoice activities and process flow.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent cases.
• Strong data management and analytical skills; advanced Excel knowledge preferred.
• Ariba knowledge is a plus.
• SSC and Manufacturing background is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Development and Technology Team in low and medium complexity procurement activities.
• Manage procurement activities with PR referencing technical services components in their assortment.
• Manage Purchase Orders based on business need in line with supplier management strategies.
• Follow up PO confirmations.
• Expedite and follow up shipments based on business needs.
• Follow up Goods receipt not invoiced activities.
• Follow up Invoiced but not Received activities.
• Manage the VIM workflow for invoice clearing.
• Manage sourcing events in Ariba and consolidate quotations from suppliers in tender process.
• Drive compliance to category strategy, supplier base plan, contracts, and best practices.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships; act as a proactive business partner.
• Work according to good practices and facilitate networking on site.
• Support continuous improvements of procedures and tools (standardization, simplification, automation).

We are looking for a Contractor who has experience in Tactical Purchasing to join our procurement team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end (E2E) purchasing process for prototype parts and materials. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. You will be based in Chakan, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Development and Technology Team in low and medium complexity procurement activities.
• Manage the procurement activities with PR with the reference of technical services components in their assortment.
• Manage Purchase Orders based on business need in line with supplier management strategies.

Requirements

• Master?s or bachelor?s degree in either of the following subjects: Economics OR Technologies OR Engineering
• Ability to respond quickly to urgent cases
• Experience in handling large volume of cases
• Fluency in English
• Able to drive change
• Communicative and Open minded
• Approx. 1-3 years of experience in supplier base management and/or sourcing & contracting, and/or purchase to invoice activities and process flow
• Strong influencing and business partnering skills
• Proven data management and analytical skills, advanced Excel knowledge is considered as an advantage
• Ariba knowledge is considered as a plus.
• SSC and Manufacturing background is considered as an advantage
