Job summary

Saaki Argus And Averil Consulting seeks a safety engineer to perform PHA studies including HAZOP/HAZID and What-if analyses, with emphasis on risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. The role involves evaluating relief systems, consequence analyses, and Fire & Gas mapping for process facilities.

The candidate will review safety studies, develop safety philosophies and procedures, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting PHA studies (HAZOP/HAZID) for process facilities.
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment methods and hazard identification.
• Familiarity with API and NFPA safety standards applicable to hazardous industries.
• Ability to develop safety philosophies, procedures, and safety engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct PHA studies (HAZOP/HAZID/What-if/LOPA) and SIL assessments.
• Review safety studies, relief system designs, and consequence analyses.
• Prepare Fire & Gas Mapping studies and support EER analyses.

Job Description:Conduct PHA studies, including HAZOP, HAZID, What-if, LOPA, and SIL assessments.Review safety studies, relief system designs, and consequence analysis reports.Ensure compliance with international safety standards, including API and NFPA.Prepare and support Fire & Gas Mapping studies.Conduct fireproofing studies and loss prevention assessments.Support Escape, Evacuation & Rescue (EER) studies.Develop safety philosophies, procedures, and safety engineering documents.Provide technical guidance on hazardous area classification and risk mitigation.Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams during project execution.Support safety audits, technical reviews, and client meetings.
