Job summary

Sarthee Consultancy is seeking a seasoned Hiring Process Manager to lead safety-focused process design and project execution in the chemical sector. The role focuses on SOP design, HAZOP-driven risk mitigation, and ensuring safe scale-up from lab to commercial production at Jhagadia.

Ideal candidates bring 9–12 years of relevant experience in chemical operations, strong root-cause analysis, HIRA, and SIL expertise, plus hands-on process safety leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience with HAZOP studies and action tracking.
• Experience with root cause analysis and incident investigations.
• Familiarity with instrument control logic preparation and process safety.
• Strong knowledge of chemical unit operations and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design SOPs and deliver process safety training to operations team.
• Ensure HAZOP studies are completed and action plans implemented.
• Monitor process safety, quality & energy systems; identify improvements.
• Drive preventive maintenance planning to minimize breakdowns.
• Investigate incidents, quality complaints, and process deviations within timelines.
• Oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning of new plants.
• Collaborate with R&D to scale up from lab to commercial production.
• Drive process efficiency improvements and uptime enhancements.
• Carry out PSSR for modifications and projects.
• Develop best standard practices within the team.
