Job summary

Infosys BPM is seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead strategic sourcing across Human Capital categories. You will collaborate with Talent (HR) stakeholders and client leaders to identify opportunities, develop strategies, negotiate terms, and drive cost savings.

With 10+ years in procurement and deep experience in talent recruitment and contingent labor, you will ensure adherence to procurement policies and deliver value for money in a fast-paced BPO environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years of Procurement experience in a collaborative environment.
  • 7+ years with Talent (HR) recruitment, contingent labor, professional/consultancy services.

Responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing activities across Human Capital categories as directed by Procurement leads.
  • Coordinate with Talent (HR) stakeholders and client leaders to identify opportunities and develop sourcing strategies.

Roles & Responsibilities

Typical examples of key responsibilities

  • Execute strategic sourcing activities, focused across Human Capital categories, as directed by the Procurement leads in accordance with the Procurement policy and provide excellence throughout the process analysing information, identifying requirements and opportunity, develop and execute sourcing strategies, negotiating terms and conditions, and contracting products and/or services;
  • Work closely with Talent (HR) stakeholders and Client business leaders to continuously identify opportunities for the organization within the category;
  • Be an advocate of the Procurement policy and relevant processes to facilitate more efficient and effective methods of getting value for money;
  • Adherence to and incorporate Client Procurement policy and processes, including collaboration with Legal (GCO), Risk Management, IT, other Procurement categories as appropriate;
  • Coordinate, gather, develop, and share human capital subject matter expertise;
  • Drive an inclusive and sustainable sourcing mindset to build a better working world;
  • Complete procurement diagnostic of external supplier spend in nominated Client region(s) or country/countries to identify both strategic and tactical procurement opportunities e.g. identifying better ways to facilitate sourcing activities and manage tail spend
  • Produce recommendations/options (while identifying associated benefits e.g. commercial, product/service value, risk mitigation and insights) for an efficient long term procurement support model, capturing procurement and supplier spend management activities;
  • Provides structured and accurate reporting on progress of the function, issues and opportunities during regular meetings;
  • Identifying contractual risk and working with relevant Procurement, other leads and, GCO;
  • Manage supplier relationships according to Clients Procurement and Independence policies;
  • Act as a trusted procurement advisor to Client stakeholders, aligning procurement projects with the businesspipeline;
  • Providing Exceptional Customer Services while delivering both brand and quantitative value to the bottom line through cost savings and cost avoidance.
Skills and attributes for success

To be successful in the role you should demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 10+ years of experience in Procurement in a collaborative, high-performance environment and a minimum of 7+ years of experience with Talent (HR)- Recruitment agency, External (Contingent) labour, Professional/Consultancy services, Temp Labour, independent contractors etc. Procurement category, specifically in Human Capital
  • Strong experience in relevant Human Capital sub-categories (including talent acquisition/recruitment, contingent labor/external workforce, professional services);
  • Significant Procurement expertise throughout the end-to-end Procurement life cycle;
  • Negotiation & alignment of supplier terms and pricing with best practice and market conditions;
  • Experience across several tech
