Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India is seeking a seasoned Strategic Sourcing professional with 5+ years’ experience in global procurement to drive end-to-end sourcing, RFx events and value-based negotiations.

You will partner with business stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, perform spend analysis, market research and deliver actionable insights to optimise costs and supplier performance.

Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa or Jaggaer and formal procurement qualifications are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a strategic sourcing role within a large global organisation.
• Proven experience leading end-to-end go-to-market activities, including RFx events.
• Ability to conduct market research, analyse industry trends, and provide actionable market insights.
• Expertise in spend analysis and spend management.
• Stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills across all organisational levels.
• Commercial acumen and negotiation capability.
• Experience managing multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional procurement qualification such as MCIPS, CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience with procurement and sourcing technologies such as SAP 4 Hana, Coupa, Jaggaer, or SAP.
• Knowledge of category management, supplier relationship management, and contract lifecycle management practices.
• Project Management and/or Lean Six Sigma certification highly regarded.
• Experience operating in large, complex, global organisations
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver commercial outcomes.
