Job summary

Tata Electronics in India seeks an experienced assembly engineering professional to lead and optimize semiconductor assembly processes, ensuring high quality and reliable yield. You will apply EOL process knowledge, DOE, 8D and DMAIC methods, map processes, implement Poka Yoke/Lean, and train teams in problem solving with SPC tools (Minitab/JMP) to meet strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in assembly engineering in semiconductor industry.
• Experience with EOL processes and related equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strong background in EOL processes and equipment formold, plating, laser mark, trim and form.
• Support and train problem solving methodologies.
• Apply 7 QC tools; basic SPC training; yield analysis.
• Develop and implement production processes to meet high quality standards.
• Maintain documentation of process changes and ensure quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and NPI to develop SOPs.

• Process mapping

• Design of Experiment (DOE)


• FMEA


• Knowledgeable in SPC tools (Minitab or JMP) is an advantage

Qualification:
