Job summary

Lakshmi Life Sciences Limited is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor to execute the daily production plan and monitor process parameters for quality output during the shift. The role includes handovers, shift briefings, and maintaining safety and quality standards on assigned machines.

You will oversee downtime, maintenance of manpower, and timely changeovers, while ensuring documentation and compliance with safety protocols during each shift.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in shift production supervision and coordinating production targets.
• Familiar with monitoring process parameters and quality output.
• Strong documentation, reporting and handover skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute the production plan and monitor process parameters to ensure quality output during the shift.
• Take handover from the previous shift and review pending issues, mould status and manpower availability.
• Conduct daily shift briefing on production targets, safety alerts and quality concerns.
• Monitor production against shift plan, track deviations and initiate corrective actions.
• Ensure manpower attendance, deployment, and break management as per shift plan.
• Coordinate mould change-overs and product changeovers across machines.
• Review SPC charts and quality data during the shift and act on out-of-control signals.
• Conduct safety walk-around and reinforce PPE and LOTO compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive shift handover report at end of every shift.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1.Take handover from previous shift; review pending issues, mould status, manpower availability.
• 2.Conduct daily shift briefing covering production targets, safety alerts, quality concerns.
• 3.Monitor production against shift plan; track deviations and initiate corrective action.
• 4.Ensure manpower attendance, deployment, and break management as per shift plan.
• 5.Coordinate mould change-overs and product changeovers across machines.
• 6.Monitor and record downtime escalate prolonged stoppages to Operations Engineer.
• 7.Review SPC charts and quality data during the shift; act on out-of-control signals.
• 8.Conduct safety walk-around once per shift; reinforce PPE and LOTO compliance.
• 9.Verify in-process parameter checks and documentation completeness.
• 10.Handle minor process deviations; escape major issues without delay.
• 11.Prepare comprehensive shift handover report at end of every shift.
• 12.Address shift-level employee concerns leave requests, grievances, attendance.
