Job summary

Sterlite Technologies (STL) is seeking an Engineer-Process to optimize manufacturing systems, ensuring stable, defect-free optical glass production. You will drive process improvement, engage in glass and fiber plant projects, and work as part of a cross-functional team to reduce scrap and improve quality.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, Six Sigma expertise, and proficiency in Excel/SQL/Tableau/MINITAB, with duties spanning industrialization and constant improvement across manufacturing

Qualifications

• Analytical and structured thinking with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent.
• Proficient in MS Excel, SQL, Tableau and MINITAB.
• Decision-making ability and clear presentation skills.
• Ability to convey complex concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

• Product Industrialization and process improvement.
• Reduce process variability and drive stability.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement in glass quality.
• Apply DMAIC methodology to problem solving.
• Collaborate with glass and fiber plants as a cross-functional team.
• Drive projects for process improvement and scrap reduction.
• Support project execution and ensure smooth handoffs.
