Job description

The purpose of this role is to improve production process, devise new productivity improvement techniques, design layouts, converting manual process to Automation.

Key Individual Accountabilities

• Understanding the process requirements, exploring new technologies, planning machine replacements, capacity planning and designing/finalizing layouts for the most optimum space utilization


• Coordinate and manage vendor meeting, including agenda, and follow-up actions, act as a bridge between the suppliers and the plant teams

Core operational accountabilities

• Improve the production processes to maximize efficiency and reduce waste


• Studying the processes to analyze the cycle-times and establish benchmarks


• Studying the existing layouts and explore improvement scope with all statutory requirements and compliances in aid with the machine suppliers and third party solutions


• Implementing Industry 4.0 solutions


• Develop solutions to optimize the cycle-times for various processes and improve efficiencies by


• Designing the layouts and setup for export locations, aiding in the setup of the plant and


• providing training to the export personnel for both production and quality


• Develop and implement solutions for ease of material handling


• Reviewing production schedules, processes, specifications, and related information
