Job summary

AUMOVIO is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our manufacturing operations in India. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, PLC troubleshooting across Siemens, Allen-Bradley and Omron platforms, and advancing automation through LabVIEW and SCADA programming.

You will work with robotics (Kuka/Fanuc) and coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to ensure safety and quality standards. Rotational shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical, Electronics, Electricals or related field.
• Experience with PLC programming across major platforms.
• Proficiency in LabVIEW and SCADA programming.
• Hands-on robotics programming with Kuka/Fanuc.
• Know-how of industrial communication protocols and automation systems.

Responsibilities

• Take preventive actions to minimize downtime and improve machine availability.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron).
• Develop control circuits as per process requirements.
• Analyse downtime and drive continuous improvement through CAPA and Lean/Six Sigma.
• Lead preventive maintenance planning and spare parts management.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Supply Chain to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Support equipment qualification, installation and process capability studies.

Job Description

• Take preventive actions to minimize downtime, improve machine availability, and enhance maintenance KPIs.
• Experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting across various platforms such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, and Omron (Siemens preferred).
• Knowledge of LabVIEW and SCADA programming.
• Hands-on experience with various industrial communication protocols.
• Experience in Robotic system (Kuka, Fanuc) programming and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of dispensing processes, plasma treatment, and robotic applications.
• Development of control circuits as per process requirements.
• Analyse machine downtime and failure trends and implement continuous improvement projects.
• Planning and execution of Preventive maintenance as per schedule
• Spare parts management.
• Flexible to work in rotational shifts.

Additional Information

• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Monitor production performance and identify opportunities for process optimization.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and process validation activities.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and control plans.
• Analyze production data and drive continuous improvement projects using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to resolve process-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Lead yield improvement, cycle time reduction, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Support equipment qualification, installation, and process capability studies.
• Participate in audits and customer visits related to manufacturing processes
