Job summary

Veolia Bengaluru is seeking an experienced engineer to ensure P&ID accuracy and alignment with project specifications. You will validate tagging, sizing at equipment and unit levels, and contribute to hydraulic flow analyses.

With 7–10 years in water or wastewater contexts, you will participate in HAZOP reviews and develop robust process solutions in collaboration with process experts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechanical/chemical/environmental engineering.
• 7–10 years in water or wastewater treatment industries.
• Experience in process design review and tagging.
• Knowledge of hydraulic flow, heat and mass balancing.
• Ability to review control philosophy and P&ID accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as-sold requirements.
• Verify project specifications including tagging and process sizing.
• Develop hydraulic flow diagrams and perform sanity checks.
• Participate in HAZOP reviews with clients and consultants.

Job Description

Must-Have Requirements:

• Ensure correctness of P&ID and incorporate as sold requirements to customer onthe P&IDs w.r.t to proposal engineering.
• Ensure correctness per project specification including tagging requirements.
• Ensure correctness, verify and cross check process projection calculations.Exmembrane tank sizing, blower capacity and sizing, air for mixing requirements
• Able to cross check process sizing at an equipment level.
• Able to review & implement tagging philosophy per customer requirement orinternational practices like KKS tagging
• Provide solutions for process optimization on hydraulic flow, pressurized flow,heat &mass balancing, control logic.
• Inside out knowledge and understanding of key Veolia products & technologiesand application engineering on process solutions
• Able to develop hydraulic flow diagram and perform sanity check independently
• Understand application engineering of Suez products & technologies on upstreamand downstream processes.
• Optimize and ensure correctness of process sizing at unit level (includingequipment level).
• Offer cost effective process solutions independently or in collaboration of processex perts.
• Negotiate with customer or customer consultant on process optimization.
• Sign off on process design review punch points as applicable.
• Ability to participate and contribute on HAZOP reviews with customer or customerconsultants and clearly resolve queries at a nodal level.
• Review & provide holistic comments on control philosophy document

Qualifications

Engineering Degree – Mechanical / Experience in Chemical /Mechanical/Environmental Engineering

Minimum 7-10 years’ Experience in Water or Waste Water treatment related Industry.
