Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Chemical or Petrochemical Engineering required.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience may apply.
• Basic understanding of chemical engineering required.
• Interest in piping engineering and process design essential.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, layouts, piping or AutoCAD advantageous but not mandatory for freshers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the process and detailed engineering of chemical, petrochemical and refinery-related projects.
• Read, review, prepare and check P&IDs.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing engineering layouts.
• Develop understanding of piping components, fittings and piping-engineering practices.
• Assist in the preparation of piping isometric drawings.
• Use AutoCAD and other applicable engineering tools after training.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation using Microsoft Office.
• Coordinate with engineers and other members of the Enviro Team.
• Gradually take independent responsibility for project activities after demonstrating competence.
• Follow company procedures relating to engineering quality, checking and project delivery.

Freshers are welcome to apply. Selected candidates will initially undergo a structured internship and training programme lasting approximately one to two months. Training in the required engineering software and work processes will be provided during this period.

Candidates who successfully complete the internship and demonstrate satisfactory technical learning, work quality, discipline and performance will be offered a permanent position with Chemionix.

Key responsibilities

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to one year of experience may apply.
• Basic academic understanding of chemical engineering is required.
• An interest in piping engineering, process design and engineering drawings is essential.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, layouts, piping or AutoCAD will be an advantage but is not mandatory for freshers.
• Candidates who have completed a piping-engineering course will receive additional consideration.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office is desirable.
