Job summary

Carbon Clean is seeking a Process Control Engineer to lead the start-up and operation of the pilot plant in Mumbai and surrounding areas. You will supervise installation, commissioning, validation and testing while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of chemical engineering field experience and hands-on PLC/DCS operation. You will support the operations team to achieve KPIs, prepare operating manuals, and prioritize HSE while coordinating site utilities and tie-ins.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with 3–5 years of field experience.
• Hands-on start-up and troubleshooting of chemical plants (Oil & Gas, Fertilizers, etc.).
• Hands-on experience in PLC/DCS operation is essential.
• Installation, commissioning, and operations experience required.
• Willingness to work in shifts as per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead the start-up and operation of the pilot plant, ensuring safe and efficient execution.

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot the manufacturing process.
• Apply strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills across process operations.
