Job summary

Carbon Clean Solutions in Navi Mumbai is seeking a skilled engineer to start up and operate their pilot plant. You will supervise installations, monitor processes, and ensure safety compliance while assisting the senior team in achieving performance KPIs.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering and possess 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience along with hands-on troubleshooting skills in chemical operations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of field experience in chemical engineering.
• Experience with chemical, oil & gas, and fertilizer plants.
• Ability to work in shifts as per business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage pilot plant trials and operations.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and performance testing.
• Assist in achieving KPIs with senior operations team.

Skills

Hands-on experience with plant start-ups

Root cause analysis and troubleshooting

Experience in PLC/DCS operation

Education

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering

Job description

• Start-up and operation of the pilot plant
• Supervision in installation, commissioning, validation, and performance testing.
• Assisting the senior operations team in achieving the KPIs
• Coordinate the site regarding site preparation, utilities, and tie-ins.
• Preparation of operating manuals and other documents associated with plant operation.
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures complying with all safety regulations.
• Manage and plan workforce to implement installation, commissioning and working of pilot plant trials.
• Always drive all trials keeping HSE as top priority.
• Operate, monitor and troubleshoot the manufacturing process.
• Good root cause analysis and troubleshooting mindset in process operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with 3 to 5 years of field experience
• Hands‑on experience with start‑ups and troubleshooting of chemical, oil & gas, fertiliser etc. plants.
• Hands‑on experience in PLC/DCS operation is a must.
• Installation, commissioning, and operations experience
• Expected to work in shifts as per business needs.
