Job summary

Carbon Clean Solutions is seeking an Electrical Engineer to plan and oversee maintenance, testing, and repair of electrical equipment at the Innovation Centre in Navi Mumbai. The role emphasizes minimizing downtime and ensuring optimum power efficiency across plant operations.

You will be responsible for ensuring work packages meet safety and quality standards, and for the design and operation of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience in an engineering organisation.
• Ability to work in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organisation.
• Develop strong working relationships and open communication.
• Knowledge of global electrical standards and work procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee maintenance, testing and repair of electrical equipment.
• Ensure work assignments and sub-contracted work meet safety & quality standards.
• Design, specification and operation of electrical equipment in the Innovation Centre.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert in Electrical Engineering across the organisation.
• Document trial reports and link pilot trials to product features.
• Design with HSE, operability and standards for Carbon Clean and customer ecosystem.
• Where needed, design, specify and work with external vendors on equipment installation and integration.
• Conduct Risk Assessment in respective functional areas / interface.

Job description

• Responsible for planning and overseeing scheduled maintenance, testing and repair of electrical equipment in Innovation Centre to minimize downtime and ensure optimum efficiency of power consumption in the plant operations.

• Ensure that work assignments and sub-contracted work packages are delivered to appropriate technical requirements safety & quality standards.
• Responsible for specification, design and operation of the electrical equipment in the Innovation Centre
• Subject Matter Expert in Electrical Engineering across the organisation.

• Expert input on active industrial and development projects, providing technical solutions and deliverables as per international codes & Standards.

• Document trial reports and summarise lessons learnt and improvement areas.

• Link Pilot plant trials and results to Product feature integration

• Design keeping HSE, Operatability, Standards of entire Carbon Clean and Customer ecosystem.

• Where needed, design, specify and work with external vendors on equipment installation and integration.

• Conduct Risk Assessment in respective functional areas / interface.

Requirements

• A engineer with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, or similar, is preferred

• Minimum 5 years of Experience of working within an engineering organisation

• Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organisation; high level of flexibility and adaptability required.

• Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and other teams; build rapport through a consistent, confident and open communication style.

• Knowledge of global electrical standards and work procedures.

• Preventive and predictive maintenance planning and scheduling.
