Job summary

Carbon Clean Solutions in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is seeking a senior R&D Lab Engineer to develop and document experimental methods as standard operating procedures, plan experiments, and oversee safe operation of lab equipment in pursuit of advanced CO2 capture technologies.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in chemistry or chemical engineering and 3–6 years in a lab, with strengths in mass transfer, thermodynamics, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a relevant subject.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of mass transfer, chemical equilibria and thermodynamics.
• Experience operating laboratory scale pilot plants and process control desirable.
• Knowledge in process development and solvent-based CO2 capture technology preferred.
• Ability to critically assess data and literature to support R&D teams.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, or a relevant subject.
• 3 to 6 years of experience of working in a laboratory environment.
• Possess a strong knowledge of mass transfer, chemical equilibria and thermodynamics.
• Experience in operating laboratory scale pilot plants and process control is desirable.
• Knowhow and experience in researching in process development. Experience in developing solvent-based CO2 capture technology is preferred.
• Display the ability to critically assess data and literature to provide insight to the Research and technical teams when required.
• Demonstrate an ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
• You should have verbal and written English language communication skills.
