Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in India is seeking a ModSSD NEAT Process Alignment Engineer to drive global process alignment across Micron network factories and subcontractors, developing and maintaining process specifications, training materials, and SOPs.

This role partners with site and global SMEs to monitor, optimize, and improve business processes, define metrics, and ensure adoption of Best-Known Methods (BKMs) while safeguarding product quality and manufacturing stability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Materials, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, preferably with experience in electronic manufacturing (PCBA manufacturing).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and influence alignment across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Drive global process alignment and standardization across Micron network factories and subcontractors, ensuring adoption of Best-Known Methods (BKMs).
  • Lead and manage implementation of new processes, equipment, and materials, including development and maintenance of process specifications, training materials, and SOPs.
  • Ensure Global FMEA and Quality Control Plans (QCP) are consistently reviewed, updated, and aligned with current manufacturing practices.
  • Establish and govern network change management requests, driving structured reviews and streamlined business processes.
  • Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency, in close collaboration with site and global SMEs.
  • Define, track, and drive global metrics to measure and reinforce process standardization and alignment.
  • Serve as a key engineering partner for subcontractor management (HVM engineering) by providing oversight on manufacturing stability and process health, safeguarding product quality, and supporting new subcontractor selection, qualification, and onboarding.

Drive global process alignment and standardization across Micron network factories and subcontractors, ensuring adoption of Best-Known Methods (BKMs).

Lead and manage implementation of new processes, equipment, and materials, including development and maintenance of process specifications, training materials, and SOPs.

Establish and govern network change management requests, driving structured reviews and streamlined business processes.

Monitor, optimize, and continuously improve business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and consistency, in close collaboration with site and global Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).

Define, track, and drive global metrics to measure and reinforce process standardization and alignment.

Serve as a key engineering partner for subcontractor management (HVM engineering) by:
  • Providing oversight on manufacturing stability and process health
  • Safeguarding product quality
  • Supporting new subcontractor selection , qualification, and onboarding
Qualification :
