Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a MOD/SSD Process Engineer to join our team in advancing memory and storage solutions. You will identify and resolve assembly process challenges, coordinate optimization initiatives, and contribute to continuous yield improvements and cost reductions across locations.

You will support SPC, FDC, RMS, and APC to ensure quality and collaborate on AI-enabled monitoring and data analytics to enhance manufacturing efficiency and decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve assembly process-related problems to ensure flawless operations.
• Coordinate and complete process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization initiatives, implementing necessary changes at each process step.
• Lead and participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities, aiming for world-class results.
• Validate and fan out new process baselines, including new processes, tools, and materials for new product introductions.
• Support Statistical Process Control (SPC), Fault Detection and Classification (FDC), Recipe Management System (RMS), and Advanced Process Control (APC) to strictly maintain quality.
• Ensure site-to-site portability for seamless operation and collaboration across locations.
• Manage and audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk management objectives successfully.
• Support internal and external audits to maintain compliance and high standards.
• Leverage Artificial intelligence and automation tools to improve process monitoring, defect detection, root-cause analysis, yield optimization, and engineering productivity.
• Identify opportunities to apply AI Enabled insights and data analytics to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and decision-making.
