Senior Manager - Private Equity Research

What you will be doing at Evalueserve

• Identify and evaluate potential investment opportunities through market screening, competitive benchmarking, and financial analysis to support investment decision-making
• Conduct deep-dive due diligence by analyzing company financials and operational metrics; interpret data packs and extract insights through structured analysis
• Perform comprehensive industry research including market sizing, growth drivers, emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and forward-looking market outlook to support investment theses
• Prepare high-quality investment memorandums and presentations for Investment Committee discussions, incorporating key findings from due diligence and financial modeling
• Drive creation of client and prospect-related materials such as marketing decks, pitchbooks, proposals, and presentations in collaboration with senior stakeholders
• Engage in portfolio monitoring and valuation, supporting ongoing performance tracking, reporting, and strategic reviews for existing investments
• Handle open-ended client requests with data-backed solutions and maintain a high standard of responsiveness and execution
• Build and maintain detailed financial models, including LBO, DCF, and comparable valuation models
• Oversee and review deliverables prepared by junior team members to ensure analytical rigor and quality; provide mentorship and upskilling opportunities
• Participate in intake and project scoping discussions to define workstreams, timelines, and resource allocations
• Contribute to internal process improvements through standardization, automation, and best-practice implementation
• Author thought leadership content including whitepapers and blogs reflecting emerging trends and sector insights relevant to private equity
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, articulating complex ideas clearly

What we’re looking for

• 10-15 years of financial/private equity research and investment banking research experience with global clients
• Team management experience in managing small teams and reviewing work outputs
• Ability to improve team utilization and contribute to firm-wide initiatives (training, hiring, automation, etc.)
• Strong financial modeling, quantitative, and corporate finance skills
• Proficiency in creating PowerPoint presentations (Teasers/CIM) for deals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency in databases – Capital IQ, Pitchbook, Bloomberg, FactSet
• Postgraduate degree preferably MBA (finance & econometrics) / CFA / CA
