Hlfppt is seeking a Prison / OCS Coordinator to oversee operations across 10 prisons, support PPVs with capacity-building and coordination with health staff, and ensure linkage to treatment for reactive inmates.

The role includes implementing HIV/AIDS programs at cluster/district levels, developing prevention/treatment strategies, collaborating with prison staff, monitoring outcomes, and training personnel. Reporting to higher management is required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in any stream or a related field with 2 years of experience in relevant field.
• Basic Computer Skills and proficiency in Hindi and local language.
• Ability to maintain data confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Perform reporting and other tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.

• The Prison / OCS Coordinator (PC) will take care of 10 prison and will be providing handhold support to PPVs. PC will be primarily responsible for building the capacities of PPVs, facilitating camp activities through coordination with health staff, both in prison and community and ensuring treatment linkages of reactive inmates in coordination with prison authorities and health functionaries. Additionally, they will be responsible for reporting mechanisms for their assigned institutions, under the supervision of State Project Managers and Monitoring Officers, placed at the state or regional level.

• Develop strategies to address HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment in prisons and OCS.
• Collaborate with prison staff to ensure the well-being of inmates.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of interventions in prison settings.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare protocols within correctional facilities.
• Coordinate training and capacity-building programs for prison staff.
• Other task which may assigned by the reporting manager.
