Job summary

Standard Chartered in India invites applications for a Relationship Manager in Wealth and Retail Banking. You’ll manage client relationships, help clients set wealth goals, and develop portfolios, supported by specialists across investments, insurance, products and treasury.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in client acquisition, relationship management and retail banking.
  • Technical knowledge and expertise in consumer banking products (i.e. Treasury, Equities, Funds, Insurance, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to learn new products and services quickly.
  • Ability to work in a flexible and agile way.
  • Self-starters and team players who enjoy working in an international environment.
  • Excellent local language skills, client networks and experience.
  • Maintains a high standard of personal conduct and lives our valued behaviours.

  • Build relationships for the long-term and understand clients’ financial needs and aspirations to grow, manage and protect their wealth, with appropriate investment solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the market and get regular market updates and investment insights from our Chief Investment Office (CIO) to share with clients.
  • Leverage myWealth digital and help clients to create custom portfolios, check performance and asset allocation based on CIO’s advice.
  • Provide outstanding client experiences.

Job description

As a Relationship Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with clients of International Banking to drive business growth and meet the bank's strategic objectives. You’ll help clients set wealth goals, manage investments, and create portfolios for long-term growth and stability. You’ll be supported by specialists in the areas of investment, insurance, products and treasury to provide clients with comprehensive solutions.
This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate your relationship management, sales, customer service and communications skills. Our Relationship Managers can advance their careers across client segments or explore roles across Wealth and Retail Banking.
