Lever, Inc. in India is seeking a Principal Specialist—Real Estate Contracts to lead end-to-end contract lifecycle across real estate, facilities, and professional services. You will draft, review, negotiate, execute, renew, and close contracts, partnering with Legal, procurement, and internal stakeholders to manage risks and governance.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years in real estate services contract management or related field.
  • Experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and managing contracts lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of data privacy, information security, and service agreements.
  • Familiarity with facilities management and professional/project delivery contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of real estate, facilities, professional services, and project delivery contracts.
  • Conduct preliminary reviews and redlines, draft amendments, coordinate execution.
  • Prepare and manage MTAs, MSAs, NDAs, and amendments.
  • Collaborate with Legal and stakeholders to ensure compliance and data privacy processes.
  • Establish governance frameworks with key suppliers to ensure service quality.
  • Maintain contract records in CM platforms and procurement systems.
  • Oversee contract execution workflows via DocuSign and monitor timely closure.
  • Track renewals, milestones, actions, and risks with proactive follow-up.
  • Coordinate with PO teams to support creation and progress tracking.
  • Develop executive analyses, reports, and presentations on contract status and risk.

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Specialist- Real Estate Contracts based in India.

This role provides expert support across real estate, facilities, and professional services contracts within a complex global organization. You will manage the full contract lifecycle, from initial review and drafting through negotiation, execution, renewals, and closeout. The position combines commercial judgment, contract expertise, stakeholder management, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with Legal, business stakeholders, procurement, and suppliers to ensure contracts are completed accurately and efficiently. Your expertise will help strengthen supplier governance, manage contractual risks, and support high-value services and project delivery activities. The role offers significant exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to influence contract processes and operational outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of real estate, facilities, professional services, and project delivery contracts.
  • Conduct preliminary contract reviews and redlines, draft amendments, and coordinate agreements through final execution.
  • Support the preparation and management of MTAs, MSAs, order forms, NDAs, and associated amendments.
  • Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders to complete required compliance and data privacy processes.
  • Establish and maintain engagement plans and governance frameworks for key suppliers to support service quality and performance.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records in contract management platforms and procurement systems.
  • Manage contract execution workflows through DocuSign and monitor completion to ensure timely closure.
  • Track contract renewals, key milestones, actions, and risks, proactively identifying items requiring attention.
  • Coordinate with purchase order teams to support PO creation and monitor progress through completion.
  • Develop executive-level analyses, reports, and presentations to communicate contract status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Support project planning and execution while adapting to changing priorities and business requirements.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in real estate services contract management or a closely related field.
  • Strong experience drafting, reviewing, redlining, negotiating, and managing commercial contracts throughout their lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of data privacy, information security, and contractual considerations associated with service agreements.
  • Familiarity with facilities management, real estate services, and professional or project delivery contracts.
  • Understanding of different services and commercial models, including time-and-materials and fixed-price agreements.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, judgment, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to track actions and risks using technology and effectively plan and execute projects.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Legal, procurement, suppliers, stakeholders, and all levels of management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of additional experience with services or software contracts is desirable.
  • Legal education or professional experience is considered an advantage.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and remain adaptable in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive contractual matters.
