Job summary

Bilvantis Technologies is seeking a GCP DevOps Lead Programmer Analyst to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform. You will own Terraform-based IaC, deploy robust CI/CD pipelines, and ensure platform reliability across development to production environments.

The role demands 5–8 years of DevOps experience, strong knowledge of GCP services (GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run), and a proactive, collaborative approach to incident management and performance

Qualifications

Job Description: GCP DevOps – Lead Programmer Analyst (Exp: 5+ Years to 8 Years) We are looking for a highly skilled GCP Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement, automate, and support cloud infrastructure and application platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) as a Lead Programmer Analyst. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in cloud architecture, infrastructure automation using Terraform, CI/CD implementation, application deployments, monitoring, and production support. The candidate will be responsible for designing scalable cloud solutions, implementing DevOps best practices, managing cloud infrastructure, supporting application deployments, and ensuring platform reliability through monitoring and operational excellence.

• Experience should have 5+ Years to 8 years of DevOps.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Architect and deploy cloud solutions aligned with business and application requirements.
• Provision and manage infrastructure using Terraform following Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
• Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure standardization and automation.
• Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, GitLab, Cloud Build, and related DevOps tools.
• Automate application deployment processes across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Support onboarding and deployment of applications on GCP platforms such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, and App Engine.
• Manage and support cloud networking components including VPCs, Load Balancers, Cloud DNS, Firewall Rules, Cloud NAT, and VPN connectivity.
• Implement and manage IAM roles, service accounts, secrets management, and cloud security best practices.
• Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions using Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Grafana, and Prometheus.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health, performance, and availability.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents, including P1 and P2 issues.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of the operational support model.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures for recurring incidents.
• Automate operational tasks include resource provisioning, scheduling, infrastructure maintenance, and environment management.
• Manage and automate database operations, including start/stop schedules, monitoring, backup validation, and maintenance activities for Cloud SQL and related services.
• Collaborate with development, QA, security, and business teams to ensure smooth delivery and deployment processes.
• Support cloud governance, compliance, security controls, and cost optimization initiatives.
• Review existing cloud environments and recommend architectural, operational, and cost improvements.
• Prepare technical documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and deployment procedures.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineering teams.
• Experience with Google Dataproc is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible for configuration management.
• Familiarity with other CI tools like TravisCI, CircleCI.
• Monitor systems using tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Understanding on the SDLC.
• Understanding on the Agile methodologies.
• Communication with customer and producing the Daily status report.
• Should have good oral and written communication.
