Job summary

Linde Engineering in Vadodara seeks an experienced Sr. Executive / Principal Engineer – Instrumentation & Controls to lead I&C concepts, size field instruments, and select control valves for EPC projects in the Oil & Gas, refinery and petrochemical sectors.

Role involves reviewing engineering drawings, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams, participating in FAT and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and international codes throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls
• Bachelor-level degree in Instrumentation & Control or related field required
• Knowledge of International Codes & Standards and Functional Safety lifecycle

Responsibilities

• Analyze contract and scope of work and interfaces
• Develop I&C concepts and philosophy with value engineering input
• Prepare, review and approve engineering documents and purchase specifications for I&C equipment
• Review drawings and documents from other disciplines and suppliers
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders
• Conduct vendor meetings and technical bid analysis
• Participate in FAT, site supervision, loop checks and commissioning support

• Field Instrumentation, selection and sizing of flow meters and control valves

• Online Gas and Liquid Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, handling Analyser Data Management Systems and interface with control system, analyzer shelter & Safeguarding concept and sample handling systems
• Control Systems, Shutdown Systems and Fire and Gas Monitoring systems

Key Role & Responsibility

• Analyze the contract and examine the relevant scope of work and interfaces
• Prepare I&C concepts and philosophy with value engineering input
• Development of cost effective, quality and HSE related concepts and solutions
• Prepare, review, and approve the engineering documents and drawings, inquiry and purchase order specifications for various I&C equipment, Review various construction engineering drawings / documents
