Role and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 25 Engineers with a techno‑managerial role.
- Process focus and continuous improvement orientation.
- Responsible for the success of the project delivering with quality; includes on‑time on‑budget delivery.
- Providing mentorship and support to the team in analyzing requirements of projects.
- Review tasks and other submissions to the internal & external customers.
- Build customer relations through good interactions and responsiveness.
- Ensuring competency of the team as per the technical requirements of projects.
Required Skills
- 13-15 years of experience in Project Engineering.
- Experience in conducting workflow review meetings in various phases of projects.
- Reviewing project documents and technical deliverables to ensure compliance with the technical scope requirements of the projects.
- Coordinate with Customer SPCon workflows, conduct progress review meetings.
- Maintain control over the project by measuring performance at defined intervals and plan/manage changes as required.
- Able to develop project checklist, work instruction, project specification.
- Responsible for successful completion of the project within the agreed scope, cost and schedule constraints while meeting quality requirements.
- Experience in handling both maintenance and reliability activities for instrumentations.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classifications, ATEX, IP ratings.
- Knowledge of global standards like ISA, IEC, ASME, CE and other related standards.
- Knowledge of control system architecture, alarm management, and equipment obsolescence determination.
- Expertise in DCS, ESDs, SIS, SSD, PLCs, field instrumentation and fire and gas detection systems.
- Review vendors’/sub‑vendors’ technical drawings/documents.
- Good knowledge of surveillance for critical instruments and control systems.
- Knowledge of factory acceptance test/site acceptance test of various vendor packages.
- Knowledge of compressor control systems, vibration monitoring systems, various gas & liquid analysers.
- Knowledge of SIL assessment/verification for safety functions using exSilentia, Exida, SIL Solver.
- Should have a good track record in creating a technical road‑map and building the capability.
- Interface and provide clarifications, guidance and technical support to internal team and also with customer.
- Working experience in SAP, PM and MM Modules knowledge is required.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
B.E/B.Tech/BS (Instrumentation & Control) having 15‑18 years of work experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical LNG industry.
Preferred Skills
- SAP PM/MM Modules, MS Office, Tableau, eX‑Silentia (Exida), GE Meridium software.
- Working knowledge of Primavera and MSP software.
