• Strong MCU architectures knowledge and IoT ecosystem; Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth knowledge a plus.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Principal Engineer - Distribution Enablement to drive the growth and adoption of business through global distribution partners. This role combines technical expertise, business development, channel enablement, and partner management to accelerate revenue growth, expand market reach, and strengthen ecosystem partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of MCUs and IoT applications, experience working with distributors, OEMs, and ODMs, and a proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies, deliver technical training, drive design wins, and influence business outcomes across global markets. Strong stakeholder management, customer engagement, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, matrix organization are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive global distribution enablement initiatives for business, supporting sustainable revenue growth through channel partners.
• Collaborate with Product Line Marketing and Application Marketing teams to develop product positioning, unique value propositions, training content, and demand‑generation strategies.
• Identify, onboard, develop, and scale high‑potential distribution partners across target markets and industry verticals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, ODMs, and key ecosystem partners.
• Develop and execute joint business plans with distribution partners, including product focus areas, growth objectives, and go‑to‑market strategies.
• Lead channel enablement programs to increase awareness, adoption, and market penetration of MCU products and solutions.
• Create and deliver technical training programs, workshops, and enablement initiatives for distributors, sales teams, and customers.
• Drive lead generation, demand creation, and business development activities through distribution channels.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for co‑marketing, co‑selling, and joint solution development with partners.
• Gather and analyze market intelligence and partner feedback to enhance products, solutions, and training effectiveness.
• Monitor partner performance, identify business gaps, and implement improvement plans to maximize growth opportunities.
• Support distribution customers in seamlessly integrating MCU products into their upcoming designs and applications.
• Track, analyze, and report key business metrics and KPIs to ensure channel activities deliver targeted revenue and growth objectives.
• Expand market reach by uncovering new customer segments, applications, and target markets through strategic channel engagement.
• Work closely with regional sales, marketing, and technical teams to strengthen partner capabilities and accelerate business growth.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Marketing , Application Marketing, Business Development, Field Applications Engineering, or related roles within the Microcontroller industry.
• Strong understanding of Microcontroller (MCU) architectures, products, and ecosystem; knowledge of Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth , and S ecurity technologies is an added advantage.
• In‑depth knowledge of IoT applications, including Smart Home, Home Appliances, Wearables, and Industrial Automation segments.
• Proven ability to drive customer engagement , win design opportunities, and contribute to revenue growth through a customer‑first approach.
• Strong business acumen with a passion for partner enablement, market development, and ecosystem growth.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, high energy, and results‑driven attitude with a focus on delivering measurable impact.
• Excellent stakeholder managemen t and international networking skills, with the flexibility to travel globally (40‑50%).
• Ability to translate distribution enablement strategies and customer feedback into actionable business insights and management recommendations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities with experience in identifying market opportunities and driving business expansion.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global, cross‑functional, and matrix organizations.
• Experience working closely with distributors, channel partners, OEMs, and ODMs to drive product adoption and business growth.
• Self‑motivated professional capable of operating effectively in a fast‑paced, global business environment.
