Job summary

Responsibilities

Part of a growing Core‑WIFI SW development for commercial, embedded and firmware development and automotive SW delivery team.

• A Management role aspiring candidate:
  • With understanding and experience with delegation.
  • Working on conflict resolution.
  • Would mainly be involved in hiring, training and mentoring employees.
  • Has done key responsibilities in WIFI background for work and would be involved in management of task assignment, help the team with scoping and delivery of task.
  • Understanding wifi technology to help the team member for prioritization with leads.
  • Work with management for growth and promotion of the team members.
  • Work with marketing for gaining more clarity on end market.
  • Guide R & D development for team members.
  • Promote patents and push publications.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of 802.11 and good communication skills.
• Good networking knowledge of TCP/IP.
• Candidate should be good at multitasking assignments and work according to defined priorities.
• Candidate should be able to work with customers and multi‑geographic teams.
• Sound knowledge of Linux device driver development, especially network device driver with respect to how TCP/IP stack interacts with the driver under various OSs.
• Strong hold of “C” programming and good at RTOS concepts, very strong understanding of system primitives.
• Ability to identify issues in driver synchronization between different threads, and between interaction of application and kernel space.
• Strong working knowledge of interrupt handling in the device driver and issues surrounding DMA, cache, SMP, etc.
• Ability to identify bottlenecks in driver performance and propose solutions to overcome CPU utilization and data throughput issues.
• Need strong knowledge of internal workings of one of the embedded OS Linux or Android.
• Knowledge of various host buses such as SDIO, SPI, USB & PCIe is a must.
• WPA Supplicant knowledge is a plus.
• Open source development is a plus.
• Candidate with previous automotive middleware development, Qualcomm/Samsung/Nvidia platform handling, knowledge on Open Synergy/QNX/GENIVI and familiarity with CAN is a plus.
