Job summary

Rodic Consultants Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced structural design lead to manage highway bridge and allied projects in Delhi, India. You will supervise DPR and detailed engineering tasks, review analyses, and coordinate with Highway, Geotechnical and CAD teams to ensure constructible designs.

The role demands 18-25 years in structural design, strong highway bridge project experience, and mandatory DDC project exposure.

Qualifications

• 18-25 years of relevant professional experience in structural design.
• Strong experience in major highway bridge projects and detailed engineering consultancy assignments.
• DDC (Detailed Design Consultancy) project experience is mandatory.
• Proven experience in handling complex bridge structures independently like Extradosed and Cable Stayed.
• Experience in leading structural design teams and managing design deliverables.
• Experience in DPR and detailed engineering assignments for highway/bridge projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design activities for highway bridge and structural works, including DPR and detailed engineering assignments.
• Prepare and review structural analysis and design calculations for bridges, flyovers and allied structures.
• Undertake and review RCC and PSC bridge design, including substructures, superstructures, foundations and associated components.
• Review structural concepts, GADs, detailed drawings, reinforcement detailing and design calculations.
• Lead and manage structural design teams, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.
• Coordinate with Highway, Geotechnical, CAD and other disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with IRC, IS Codes and relevant international specifications/standards.
• Conduct technical reviews and provide independent engineering inputs on complex structural design issues.
• Support proof checking, independent design review and technical due diligence activities, wherever required.
• Interface with clients, authorities and project stakeholders for technical discussions, design submissions and approvals.
• Identify design risks, resolve technical issues and take appropriate engineering decisions within project requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior and mid-level structural engineers, strengthening technical capabilities within the team.
• Monitor design progress, quality and deliverables to ensure adherence to project schedules and consultancy standards.
• Contribute to DPR preparation and detailed engineering assignments for major highway and bridge projects.
• Ensure all design documentation, calculations and drawings meet required quality and review standards.
