Job summary

NIQ in Chennai seeks a Principal - Cloud Computing Engineer to drive enterprise cloud architecture across Azure, GCP, and AWS. You will define multi-cloud strategies, lead engineering teams, and ensure security, performance, and regulatory compliance while advancing automation and cost optimization.

The role requires deep cloud expertise, strong Python and Git skills, and a proven record of delivering scalable cloud solutions with strong leadership and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS services and architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and Git.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with FinOps and cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
