Job summary

NIQ, a leading consumer intelligence company, is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer to lead multi-cloud design and optimization across Azure, GCP, and AWS from its Chennai office.

You will drive cloud strategy, architecture, and automation initiatives, mentoring engineering teams and shaping enterprise cloud adoption roadmaps. Strong expertise in Python, IaC, and container tech is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS services and architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and strategic thinking skills.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
• Experience with FinOps and cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
