Job summary

NielsenIQ in Chennai seeks a Principal Cloud Computing Engineer to lead design, implementation, and optimization of multi-cloud solutions across Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and AWS. You will drive cloud strategy, architecture, and automation to ensure scalability, security, and operational excellence.

You will guide IaC with Terraform/Ansible, build CI/CD pipelines, and mentor engineering teams while focusing on cost optimization and governance across enterprise deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering or architecture roles.
• Deep expertise in Azure, GCP, and AWS services and architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and Git.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and IaC tools.
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Certifications in Azure, AWS, and GCP are a plus.
• Experience with FinOps and cost optimization strategies.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices.
