Job summary

Stryker Corporation is seeking a Hybrid Principal Analyst, Business Intelligence Service Delivery to lead analytics development across SAP BW, Azure, Databricks, Power BI and BPC. You will gather requirements, design technical solutions, implement, and optimize systems while guiding both onshore and offshore teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• 10–12 years of data and analytics experience with SAP BW and Azure.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BW, Databricks, Power BI, Azure Data Factory and ETL tools like Informatica.
• Experience in ITIL, SDLC, Agile/Waterfall; ITIL v4 certification preferred.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions across architecture, data flows, design, development and deployment.

Hybrid Principal Analyst, Business Intelligence Service Delivery

This role is responsible for leading development and support for the analytics solutions on SAP BW, Azure, Databricks, Power BI and BPC. This individual is responsible for leading the business requirement gathering, design technical solutions, implementation, and optimization of solutions. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to ensure efficient and effective IT solutions delivery for analytics operations and automation. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgement in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision. This Job requires an understanding and application of procedures and concepts of own discipline, attention to detail in making evaluative judgements based on the analysis of information. What you will do

• Design, build, test, and deliver scalable analytics and data solutions across SAP BW, Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Power BI, and BPC, ensuring reliability, security, maintainability, and performance.
• Lead end-to-end analytics development and application support, ensuring successful delivery of solutions aligned with business requirements, technical standards, and enterprise data strategy.
• Partner with business, IT, global process governance, and project teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, considering security, scalability, stability, and long-term sustainability.
• Provide technical leadership to internal and vendor development teams, including solution design, hands-on development, code reviews, implementation, troubleshooting, and adherence to engineering best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by overseeing day-to-day application support and maintenance while identifying opportunities to improve system performance, process efficiency, and overall customer experience.
• Lead incident, problem, and root cause management, resolving complex technical issues and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve application stability and service reliability.
• Transform support operations through automation, AI, self-service, and shift-left approaches, reducing manual effort and continuously improving service effectiveness and user experience.
• Own service excellence and continuous improvement, establishing service roadmaps, proactive monitoring, support procedures, and improvement initiatives based on stakeholder demand and customer feedback.
• Manage onshore/offshore teams and technology vendors, monitoring performance against agreed service expectations and driving accountability for high-quality development, support, and service delivery.
• Ensure strong governance and operational readiness through adherence to release management processes and maintenance of accurate system documentation, requirements, test scripts, knowledge articles, configuration information, and support procedures.

What you need

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• 10-12 years of experience in data and analytics, including designing and developing scalable, high-quality solutions across SAP BW and Microsoft Azure platforms.
• Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BW, Databricks, Power BI, Azure Data Factory (ADF) and ETL technologies such as Informatica; SAP BW certification preferred.
• Strong production/application support experience, with strong capabilities in Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management, including root cause analysis and systematic troubleshooting.
• Proven experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and solutions, covering architecture, data flows, design, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and enhancements.
• Strong understanding of ITIL, SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies; ITIL Foundation v4 or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience designing and supporting cross-application integrations involving SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms, along with exposure to AI platforms such as Microsoft Copilot.
• Excellent stakeholder management, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong internal/external relationships and simplify complex technical concepts into actionable plans; MedTech industry experience preferred.

Work Flexibility Remote - Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace.

These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based - You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite - Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid - You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
