PAREKH is seeking an experienced Pricing Manager in the freight forwarding sector to lead pricing for export and import shipments. You will coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, vendors, and internal teams to deliver competitive and profitable freight quotations while ensuring top-quality service.

The role requires 4+ years in freight forwarding pricing, with strong EXIM knowledge and a network of carriers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of pricing experience in freight forwarding.
• Strong EXIM (Export/Import) knowledge.
• Experience in handling FCL, LCL, Air freight pricing.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and freight software.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end pricing for ocean & air freight (Export & Import).
• Negotiate rates with major shipping lines and carriers.
• Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, co-loaders, and agents.
• Prepare accurate freight quotations, RFQs, and tenders.
• Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
• Ensure timely responses to customer and overseas agent inquiries.
• Maintain pricing database and update rate sheets regularly.
• Optimize cost structures to improve margins.
• Handle special cargo pricing (ODC, hazardous, project cargo).
• Support key account management with customized pricing solutions.

• Negotiate rates with major shipping lines like Maersk, MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, Hapag, and CMA CGM
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, co-loaders, and agents
• Prepare accurate freight quotations, RFQs, and tenders
• Monitor market trends, rate fluctuations, and competitor pricing
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams
• Ensure timely responses to customer and overseas agent inquiries
