Job summary

Hempel Paints Kuwait Company W.L.L. is seeking a Pricing Analyst to drive pricing strategy across markets, analyze price changes, and support profitable deal closures.

You will analyze market data, create dashboards, perform profitability analyses, and deliver insights to enable competitive pricing. Strong Excel, Power BI, and data interpretation skills are essential to shape pricing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Educational background in Mathematics, CS, Statistics, Finance or Business.
• University/Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Proven stakeholder management experience.
• Experience with price performance reporting.
• Dashboard creation and maintenance.
• Profit-volume / profitability analysis.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Strong business sense and ability to build business cases.
• Advanced MS Excel skills; Power BI and Power Apps knowledge.
• Data interpretation and handling large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Drive pricing analysis by market to understand pricing dynamics.
• Analyze price change requests and assess impact and potential incremental volume.
• Implement pricing actions to improve profitability and close deals.
• Capture pricing intelligence on competitors and pricing actions.
• Identify revenue and margin optimization opportunities.
• Own performance metrics for assigned markets in revenue and price performance.
• Roll out the new pricing strategy in your area.
• Collaborate with internal teams and lead where needed.

Pricing Analyst

Drive pricing analysis by market to understand pricing dynamics: price effectiveness, competitors’ movements, price increases, customer and industry trends.

Analyze price change requests from the sales team by evaluating contribution and price impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels

Take pricing actions to enhance profitability and closing deals

Capture pricing intelligence about the competition and potential competitive pricing actions

Identify potential quick wins, revenue and margin optimization opportunities

Own performance of assigned markets/segment in terms of revenue, contribution and price performance across product groups

Implement and roll out our new pricing strategy in your area and thereby shape our future!

You are capable of working both independently and as a part of a team and have the ability to lead without authority.

What Are We Looking For?

• An educational background in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Finance or Business.
• University / Bachelor’s degree or above
• Proven experience in stakeholder management
• Price performance/Sales performance/Revenue reporting
• Dashboard creation and maintenance
• Profit-volume analysis (profitability analysis)
• Good business sense, proficient in written and oral English.
• Should be able to create business-case scenario.
• Super user in MS office and especially Excel.
• PowerBi report creation, Power apps knowledge.
• Data interpretation i.e. processing large amounts of data and deriving insights out of it.
