Job summary

Qualifications

• 4–5+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising, bookkeeping, inventory, purchasing, or a similar detail-oriented, numbers-focused role.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with repetitive, accuracy-critical data.
• Good understanding of cost, retail price, markup, and margin calculations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reviewing, comparing, and updating pricing data.
• Comfortable working with POS / retail back-office systems.
• Prior experience with ECRS Catapult is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to analyze sales and pricing reports and identify discrepancies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage large volumes of item and pricing data.
• Willingness to work in a US shift and maintain the required overlap with US Eastern Time.

Work Hours: US Shift – Must overlap at least 5 hours with US Eastern Time (approx. 6:30 PM – 3:30 AM IST, or as agreed)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Book / Sales Summary Reporting

• Prepare recurring sales summaries for management review.
• Analyze sales performance by item, category, and store.
• Generate and review sales reports using the retail back-office system.
• Compare sales performance across individual stores and the overall business.
• Use sales data to support pricing, purchasing, and inventory decisions.

3. Excel-Based Price & Cost Updates

• Prepare and manage bulk price and cost changes using Microsoft Excel.
• Review and cross-check pricing data before importing updates into the retail back-office system.
• Perform mass price and cost updates where required.
• Ensure imported pricing data is accurate and meets the required margin structure.
• Maintain proper records of pricing changes and updates.

4. Price Book Accuracy & Maintenance

• Maintain the accuracy of the price book across multiple stores.
• Review item costs, retail prices, margins, and related pricing information regularly.
• Identify and correct discrepancies in pricing and cost data.
• Coordinate with relevant teams/vendors when cost or pricing information needs clarification.
• Ensure pricing information remains consistent and up to date across stores.
