Job summary

TIERONE is seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Engineer with a strong Telecom OSS/BSS background to drive pre-sales activities and tailor solutions for clients. You will prepare technical docs, engage with customers to capture requirements, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires excellence in communication, strong analytical skills, and willingness to travel as needed to support sales efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in a pre-sales role with a strong emphasis on Telecom, OSS, and BSS.
• Good knowledge of Telecom OSS and BSS solutions.
• Proficiency in creating detailed technical documentation, presentations and proposals.
• Familiarity with Java-based software solutions is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Handle pre-sales documentation including RFPs, RFQs, SOWs, and other technical documents.
• Provide technical expertise and solution guidance to clients.
• Design and propose solutions addressing client requirements with the solutioning team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Technical Pre-Sales Engineer with a strong background in Telecom, OSS (Operational Support Systems), and BSS (Business Support Systems). The candidate will be responsible for handling pre-sales documentation, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure the successful delivery of tailored solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Telecom Experience:
• Leverage prior experience in Telecom with a focus on OSS and BSS to provide expert guidance and solutions.
• Pre-Sales Documentation:
• Handle all pre-sales documentation including RFP (Request for Proposal), RFQ (Request for Quotation), SOW (Statement of Work), and other technical understanding documents.
• Ensure accuracy, clarity, and comprehensiveness in all documentation provided to prospective clients.
• Technical Expertise:
• Possess a deep technical understanding of OSS and BSS systems and the ability to articulate these to clients.
• Design and propose solutions that address client requirements effectively by working solutioning team
• Customer Engagement:
• Engage with customers to gather requirements, understand their needs, and propose appropriate solutions by working solutioning team
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with product, professional services (PS), and sales teams to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
• Provide feedback and insights from customer interactions to product teams for continuous improvement.
• Travel:
• Be flexible and willing to travel on an ad-hoc basis to meet with clients and support sales activities.
