Job summary

Weekday (YC W21) in Mumbai and Delhi is seeking an Associate-level PR professional to support press materials, media outreach, and brand communications. You will help coordinate campaigns and assist with client deliverables.

You will build relationships with media, journalists, and influencers while monitoring industry trends and preparing reports. The role requires strong English and Office tools proficiency, with agency or fashion/lifestyle experience a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience in Public Relations, Communications, or Corporate Communications
• Agency experience is preferred
• Experience or interest in handling Fashion, Lifestyle, & Hospitality brands is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent command of English
• Good understanding of media relations and the PR ecosystem
• Basic knowledge of influencer marketing and digital media
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and Google Workspace
• A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing press releases, media pitches, PR plans, newsletters, and other communication materials
• Build and maintain relationships with media professionals, journalists, and influencers
• Support the execution of PR campaigns, media outreach, and brand communication initiatives
• Coordinate and assist with promotional events such as press conferences, product launches, store openings, exhibitions, and media interactions
• Research industry trends, media opportunities, and competitor activities to support PR strategies
• Track, monitor, and compile media coverage reports and campaign performance reports
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely execution of PR activities
• Support influencer outreach and campaign execution across various social media platforms
• Assist in preparing client presentations, meeting notes, and monthly reporting documents
• Stay updated with current media, communication, and social media trends
