Job summary

GSR Business Services is seeking a Power system domain engineer in Bangalore to support testing of power monitoring and energy management systems. The candidate should have 5–8 years of hands-on experience in power domain, including power system analysis, harmonic and power quality analysis.

Exposure to MV/LV products and multiple communication protocols is required; Siemens powermanager experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• 5–8 years’ experience in Power domain with exposure to power system analysis, harmonic analysis, power quality analysis.
• Experience with power monitoring systems and energy management systems; Siemens powermanager desirable.
• Experience in low & medium voltage products (Energy meters / Electrical power knowledge, circuit breakers, motor starters, drives, etc.).
• Knowledge of SIEMENS low & medium-voltage and industrial control products desirable.
• Experience with different protocols (MPI, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet TCP/IP, Modbus RTU/TCP, BACnet, IEC61850, ION).
• Strong English language skills; good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to work with cross-functional teams.

• Candidate with following experience are preferred :
• Qualification : Masters/Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
• Must have : Advanced power system knowhow with experience of 5 -8 years in Power domain with exposure to power system analysis, Harmonic Analysis, Power Quality Analysis.
• Must have : Experience with power monitoring systems and energy management systems ; Experience with Siemens powermanager desirable.
• Must have : Experience in low & medium voltage products (Energy meters / Electrical power Knowledge, Circuit breakers, Motor Starters, Drives, etc.). Knowledge on SIEMENS low & medium-voltage and industrial control products-desirable
