Job summary

Excelencia in Chennai is seeking a Power Platform Developer to design, build, and implement solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions, model data, and integrate with Azure services and Dataverse, while maintaining existing deployments and ensuring data security.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of Power Platform development experience.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom business applications using Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate for workflow automation, and Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Build reusable components, custom controls, and Power Fx logic to enhance application functionality and maintainability.
• Develop and deploy chatbots using Power Virtual Agents.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications.
• Maintain and update existing Power Platform solutions.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Dataverse for data storage, security, and relational data modeling.

A Power Platform developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. They work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions that enhance business processes and productivity.

Experience Required: 4 to 7 years of experience required as a Power Platform Developer.

• Advanced proficiency in Power Apps (canvas and model-driven), Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with integration technologies (e.g., REST APIs, OData, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions).
• Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Azure DevOps, Azure API Management) for application lifecycle management and integration.

Certifications (Preferred):

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200).
