Job summary

Papigen is seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer in Chennai to design, develop, and support enterprise apps using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. You will deliver scalable, secure solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.

The role emphasizes building APIs and backend services with .NET Core, integrating REST APIs, and enforcing governance and security across environments.

Qualifications

• 8 years of software development experience.
• Hands-on with Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Platform.
• Experience building backend services with .NET Core.
• Web UI development with React.js.
• Strong knowledge of Azure PaaS, DevOps, CI/CD, and Git.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Understanding of IAM, application security, and secure configurations.
• Familiarity with Agile/SAFe software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) applications.
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for enterprise processes.
• Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, and security roles.
• Integrate Power Platform with Azure services, REST APIs, and enterprise apps.
• Develop PCF controls where required.
• Manage solution lifecycle across Dev, Test, and Production with Azure DevOps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and ALM.
• Apply DLP policies, governance, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and dev teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI and Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives.

The ideal candidate will deliver scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) applications.
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows for enterprise business processes.
• Design and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, and security roles.
• Integrate Power Platform solutions with Azure services, REST APIs, and enterprise applications.
• Develop Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls where required.
• Manage solution lifecycle across Dev, Test, and Production environments using Azure DevOps.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines, solution deployments, and application lifecycle management (ALM).
• Apply Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, governance, and security best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.

Required Skills

• Understanding of Identity & Access Management, application security, and secure configurations.
• Experience with Agile/SAFe software delivery methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power Platform ALM, Managed Solutions, and Environment Strategy.
• Knowledge of PCF Controls, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
• Microsoft Power Platform Certifications (PL-400, PL-600, PL-900) are preferred.
