Job summary

Samridhi is seeking a Transmission Line and Bay Extension engineer to oversee planning, survey activities, and detailed reporting for TL projects in Barmer, Rajasthan.

You will supervise check surveys, route feasibility, tower spotting data analysis, and coordinate with SLDC, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure timely, within-budget project delivery while upholding EHS and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and surveying transmission lines.
• Knowledge of tower foundation, erection, stringing and testing.
• Familiarity with route length optimization and cost optimization for TL projects.
• Understanding of transmission line design parameters and tower structures.
• Ability to coordinate with SLDC, vendors and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Plan & supervise transmission line survey activities and prepare detailed reports.
• Oversee Bay Extension activities including structure leveling, equipment erection and cable laying.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget with proper documentation.
• Maintain communication with operations to clarify project scope and schedule and coordinate with stakeholders.

Job description

Transmission Line:

• Plan & Scheduling Survey activities, preparing reports and detailed BOM & follow up deviation in Survey.
• Supervising the Check survey, Submit Reports, PLS CAD, route feasibility, Tower Spotting data analysis.
• Knowledge in route length optimization, cost optimization of Transmission line.
• Knowledge transmission line design parameters, Tower structure design.
• Planning & Execution of the Tower Foundation, Erection, Stringing and testing and commissioning
• Dealing with SLDC officials for charging code to charge the line. Final checking & handing over formalities.
• Excellence in Plan & Execute the Project activities of Transmission Line projects and Bay extension construction projects in the line with EHS & Quality Management, Project Management & Project Coordination in time.
• Overseeing and ensuring completion of project deliverables.
• To maintain and make sure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Maintain communication with operations to ensure the understanding of project scope and schedule
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors
• Maintain communication throughout regarding project schedule/status

Bay Extension:

• Scheduling & Supervising Leveling for Structure, Gantry bus extension, Equipment erections. Follow up Equipments & Foundation, Concreting activities.
• Supervision of Erecting the Equipment’s activities. Planning & Execute the Control Panel Erection activities, Supervision of Underground Cable laying activities, Follow up with concerned department officials.
