Job summary

BinQle is seeking a Power Electronics Design Engineer in Pune to lead hardware design for AC-DC and DC-DC converters and motor inverters. You will drive simulations, validation, and the full hardware development lifecycle with customers.

The ideal candidate has 4–8 years of experience in power electronics, hands-on board design, and familiarity with Si, SiC, GaN devices. BE/BTech in Electronics is required.

Qualifications

• Power electronic design experience in hardware design, AC-DC and DC-DC converters.
• Simulation experience using Matlab Simulink.
• Ability to analyze analog and digital circuits, perform FMEA, stress and tolerance studies.
• Experience with switching devices, gate drivers, modulation techniques, and filters.
• Experience with Si, SiC, and GaN power semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement power electronic hardware, including AC-DC and DC-DC converters, and motor inverters.
• Manage the full hardware development lifecycle: requirements, design, development, verification, validation, qualification, and certification testing.
• Conduct simulations using Matlab Simulink and perform functional analysis of analog and digital circuits.
• Participate in customer discussions as required.
• Troubleshoot and perform failure analysis on power electronic systems, implementing corrective actions.
• Analyze circuits for FMEA, stress, derating, worst-case, and tolerance studies.
• Integrate power electronic systems into larger electrical systems.
