Power BI Tech Lead

Job Title: Power BI Tech Lead

Experience: 9+ years total | Minimum 2+ years in Healthcare domain

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days (Mandatory)

About the Role: We are seeking a highly experienced Power BI Tech Lead with a strong background in designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-level BI solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 9+ years of total experience in Business Intelligence, including a minimum of 2+ years working with healthcare data.

This is a lead-level position involving hands-on technical development, team leadership, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable, high-quality BI solutions that support critical business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of interactive Power BI dashboards and data models.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into impactful BI solutions.
• Design and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
• Build and maintain SSRS and Report Builder reports for enterprise-wide usage.
• Ensure data accuracy, security, performance, and scalability of all BI deliverables.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BI developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices.
• Stay up to date with BI technologies and recommend improvements to reporting architecture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 9+ years of total experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Reporting.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in the Healthcare domain (understanding of data models, attributes, and regulatory requirements).
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, RLS, performance tuning).
• Strong hands-on experience in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, performance optimization).
• Proven experience in SSRS and Report Builder.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL workflows.
• Python Automation Scripting – Mandatory.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Prior experience leading or mentoring a BI team.

Mandatory Requirements

• Notice Period: Immediate to 20 days maximum (profiles beyond this will not be considered).
• Relevant Domain: Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working with US Healthcare
• Python Automation Scripting: Mandatory requirement. Candidates without Python scripting experience are requested not to apply.
