About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Power BI Developer to join our growing Data & Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports that drive data-informed decision‑making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and publish interactive Power BI dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Connect and transform data from multiple sources (SQL, Excel, APIs, cloud platforms) using Power Query.
• Build and maintain robust data models with optimized DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Maintain documentation for data models, report logic, and data sources.
• Support self‑service analytics by training end users on Power BI tools and best practices.
• Work closely with data engineers and architects to align on data pipeline and warehouse standards.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft Power BI in a professional environment.
• Proficiency in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for creating complex measures and calculated fields.
• Strong experience with Power Query (M language) for data transformation and cleansing.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, relationships).
• Experience connecting Power BI to various data sources including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, or REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Row‑Level Security (RLS) and Power BI workspace/governance best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills — ability to translate business questions into data solutions.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics integration.
• Exposure to Power BI Embedded or paginated reports (SSRS).
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Looker.
• Understanding of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
