Job description

Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.

Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.

Develop and optimize data models, datasets, and semantic models.

Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.

Develop advanced DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes using Power Query and other data integration tools.

Integrate Power BI with multiple data sources, including SQL Server, Azure, Excel, APIs, and cloud platforms.

Optimize report performance, data refresh schedules, and security using Row-Level Security (RLS).

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and technical teams to deliver reporting solutions.

Troubleshoot reporting issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and Microsoft BI technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Power BI development and Business Intelligence.

Strong expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Power Query, and DAX.

Excellent knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Experience in data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema).

Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data transformation.

Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and workspace management.

Preferred Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Microsoft Power BI Certification is an added advantage.

Experience with Microsoft Fabric is a plus.
