Job summary

Tessolve is seeking a Post Silicon Validation Engineer (ATE) in Visakhapatnam to join the silicon validation team. You will develop and execute ATE test programs, work with design/DFT teams, and interact with customers to ensure device parameters meet specifications.

The role demands 2–10 years in the semiconductor field, hands-on ATE experience, and the ability to lead test methodology development and hardware test load board activities.

Qualifications

• 2–10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with exposure to Post Silicon Validation, Product Engineering, or ATE/Test Engineering activities.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms such as Teradyne, Advantest, NI, or Cohu will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test solutions for semiconductor ICs across multiple domains (Power, Digital, Mixed-signal, RF).
• Serve as primary contact to interact with customers/vendors and cross-functional teams.
• Develop detailed test procedures from device datasheet and collaborate with design/DFT teams during bring-up.
• Lead hardware design activities (probe cards, load boards) and provide PCB placement guidelines.
• Characterize devices across temperature/voltage/process corners and validate against specs.
• Release final production-quality test programs to customers and support status updates.

Job Description

Test Engineer must work with different teams forunderstanding the device datasheet and needs to come up with a detailed Testprocedure/plan to test the chip. Need to interact with the PCB design team fordeveloping the necessary hardware – Test load board, bench board, and probecards.

He/she should develop the complete ATE test program tovalidate the chip. Close interactions with the chip design and DFT teams are amust during the device debug phase and bring up and need to validate all thedevice parameters with the specifications. In addition, Test engineer shouldinvolve in developing the test methodologies as required.

Responsibilities

• Develop ATE test solution for semiconductor IC’s indifferent domains as Power management / Digital / Mixed signal or RF
• Be a primary contact to interact with customer / vendors(design / support teams)
• Work with design/DFT team to develop the detailed testprocedure from device data sheet.
• Develop and lead the hardware design activity (Probe cards/ Final test load boards), develop schematics, provide placement / layoutguidelines to PCB design engineer
• Silicon bring up using ATE tool such asTeradyne, Advantest etc (Uflex, Ultra Flex, IFlex,UltraFlex +,V 93K,ETS 88,ETS 364.
• Device characterization across temperature, voltage andprocess corners, and validate the chip against the specification
• Responsible for releasing the Final production qualitytest program to the customer –both wafer final test program.
• Interact with the customer on a daily basis and providestatus updates through e-mails and conference calls.
• Responsible from the beginning to the Final testprogram release to production
