About the Job

Put your experience to work as an Application Engineer in the dynamic and challenging environment of Keysight's Application and Technical Support team.

Every day you will have the opportunity to impact the success of multiple customers as they work on the forefront of technology. You will be provided with access to the breadth of Keysight's electronic measurement equipment, training with our senior application engineers.

You will help Keysight's customers select and utilize the right solutions for their electrical and electronics testing needs across a breadth of industries including automotive, wireless, aerospace, education, and semiconductor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and log customer issues in CRM tools.
• Handle US region customer Email, Calls and Web Interactions.
• Effectively work and communicate with worldwide support and the other L2 teams.
• Accurately log, track and maintain customer service requests.
• Achieve customer satisfaction and support metric goals and SLAs.
• Provide software licensing support for Keysight customer and provide basic technical assistance using Knowledge base articles.
• Leverage post-sales interactions with customers, to investigate more broadly and provide highly qualified opportunities to sales.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree, or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Communications Engineering.
• 1-year relevant experience in engineering projects or customer support.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in the English language; must be able to explain technical concepts and subjects over the phone and through email.
• Strong organisational skills: ability to multi-task, prioritise and work well under pressure.
• Must work well in a team environment and be self-motivated.
• Strong analytical skills to analyse and solve problems.
• Experience in customer service in Electronics industry is an added advantage.

Nice to have Qualifications

• Previous experience with engineering projects in the Electrical/Electronics discipline is a plus.
• Operating knowledge on network analysers, scopes, DMMs, DAQs, power supplies, function generators or other test equipment is an advantage.
• Skilled with using Windows operating systems and network connectivity.
