Job summary

VISEO in India is seeking a skilled Azure integration engineer to rollout a custom PaaS layer, configure API and event-driven flows, and align with global architectures. The role covers REST/Webhooks, data transformations, and integrations with SAP S/4HANA and CRM across retail domains.

You will implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps, use Logic Apps, Functions, and Service Bus, and ensure security and data privacy while coordinating with global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rollout of Azure-based custom PaaS integration layer.
• Analyse and configure integration flows for Sales, Returns, Inventory, Payments.
• Define REST APIs, Webhooks, and data mappings.
• Troubleshoot and configure flows using Azure services.
• Ensure local configs follow global cloud blueprints.
• Integrate POS SaaS with SAP S/4HANA and CRM.
• Execute SIT/UAT/End-to-End tests for localized integrations.
• Deploy apps and manage releases via Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Monitor health with Azure Monitor and Splunk.
• Maintain security controls and data privacy standards.
• Translate local business needs into technical configurations.
• Act as liaison between global teams, locals, and vendors.
• Participate in workshops to adapt patterns locally.
• Analyze and resolve data routing, payload, and transformation issues.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and propose optimizations.
• Support go-live, pilot rollouts, and production ramp-up.
• Communicate progress and risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute the rollout of a custom Azure-based PaaS integration layer based on predefined global architectures
• Analyse and configure API and event-driven integration flows for retail entities: Sales, Returns, Inventory, Payments, Product, Pricing
• Define and configure REST APIs, Webhooks, and JSON data transformations aligned with regional data mapping requirements
• Troubleshoot and configure integration flows leveraging Azure services: Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory, Azure SQL
• Ensure all local configurations adhere to global cloud blueprints and architecture standards
• Facilitate the integration of POS SaaS platforms with enterprise systems (SAP S/4HANA, CRM)
• Execute SIT, UAT, and End-to-End testing for localized integrations to ensure data integrity
• Execute application deployments and manage releases using existing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools (Azure Monitor, Splunk) to track integration health and trace data flows
• Ensure local configurations adhere to enterprise-grade security controls and data privacy standards
• Translate local market business requirements into technical configurations and data mappings
• Act as the primary technical liaison between global integration engineering teams, local business stakeholders, and vendors
• Participate in workshops to adapt global integration patterns to local markets without altering the core architecture
• Analyse and resolve complex integration issues, specifically focusing on data routing failures, payload mismatches, and transformation errors
• Identify performance bottlenecks in data flows and suggest optimizations to the core cloud engineering teams
• Ensure system stability during high-pressure go-live and rollout phases
• Drive deployment timelines and coordinate pilot rollouts in local markets
• Provide dedicated hyper-care support during cutovers and production ramp-up
• Communicate project progress, technical risks, and deployment blockers clearly to stakeholders

Profile

• Minimum Bachelors degree in IT/Computer Science or other relevant discipline
• Strong experience in troubleshooting Azure PaaS services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus, Data Factory, Azure SQL)
• Hands-on experience in API integrations, event-driven architecture, and microservices
• Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks, data transformation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and IaC (ARM, Bicep, Terraform)
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Splunk, AppDynamics)
• Familiarity with enterprise security standards and SSO configurations
• Experience integrating POS systems with ERP (SAP S/4HANA) and CRM platforms
• Understanding of retail data flows and operations (sales, inventory, payments)
• Experience in retail and large-scale POS transformation programs
• Exposure to multi-country deployments and localization requirements
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture patterns and enterprise integration frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-stakes deployment environments
• Excellent stakeholder communication across global and local teams
